10 Resort 2016 Looks I Want To Recreate

I appreciate fashion because I appreciate beautiful things, but another level of appreciation comes in when I see a complete look I want to wear. If you’ve never scanned through collections and saved looks that you like, try it. It’s an exercise that allows you to see what you like (duh), how you want to look, and in effect, what you want to buy. Here are 10 looks from the resort 2016 collections that I want to wear, which include this Trademark dress above. I’m into ruffles and big earrings.

Cream paired with white is very appealing. So is the high waist midi skirt with a raw hem. (Thakoon)

Leave to me to pick the most basic look from Rosie Assoulin‘s resort collection. It’s the fit of the pants and the drape of the jacket. Perfect.

Red and ruffles. Two things I’m usually never interested in, but I’m being swayed by this Proenza Schouler dress.

I love menswear details, especially when they are implemented into feminine silhouettes. (Narciso Rodriguez)

It’s time for me to buy a robe coat. (Mother of Pearl)

Designers are doing really interesting things with buttons. And I’m always in search of clothes to wear at night that can’t be described as body con. I can imagine wearing this jumpsuit to an evening event without the shirt and with a heel.  (Misha Nonoo)

Who knew these types of cut outs would work. (Givenchey)

Michael Kors just knows how to make clothes that a diverse set of women want to wear.

Ever want color inspiration? See Jonathan Saunders‘ collections. This pink coat is darling.
